Welcome to the MGPNews MotoGP Fly-Away Championship. Consisting of just the four fly-away races it’s short and snappy and consists of the following added perils:
Jetlag
Nothing fogs the brain better than good old jetlag. This sneaky time-zone thief will steal rider’s sleep, swap energy for desperation and leave them wandering aimlessly around pitlane like a zombie tourist….and that’s all before they even risk getting on a bike.
Food poisoning
This uninvited street-food souvenir can turn any rider’s guts into a volcanic protest – swapping spicy bliss for porcelain throne vigils. Worst still, during any race, they may lose some ballast down the leg of their leathers after lap 3 and cause the ‘slippery surface’ flags to be shown.
Exotic illnesses
With a worrying plethora of venomous snakes and insects wandering around these far-flung foreign places are ripe for pasty-skinned riders to collect an exotic illness – all that come with an abundance of grotty symptoms.
Current standings:
Resting Bitch Face Raul (RBFR) Fernandez currently leads the pack in the MGPNews Fly Away Championship from Bezzecchi making it an Aprilia 1-2.
However everyone down to Luca Marini in 12th still stands a chance of winning this prestigious title….except Marc Marquez of course.
